RACV General Manager Queensland Resorts, John Morris said upgrade of the Resort’s conference facilities, which re-opened for business recently (April 1), built on Royal Pines’ reputation as the Gold Coast’s premier conference and events venue.

“The refurbishment for the Royal Pines Resort conference and events facilities builds on the original design philosophy to create a venue that is uniquely Gold Coast,” Mr Morris said.

“Among the changes are a new grand staircase and a new glass wall to the front of the iconic Royal Benowa Ballroom, which infinitely expands the ballroom and pre-function space and connects it with the stunning landscape of the golf course beyond.”

Mr Morris said RACV had also improved the usability of the 1500m2 ballroom with help of new state-of-the-art technology.

“As part of the upgrade, the main ballroom can be divided into three ballrooms through the use of new, acoustically rated operable walls, while the smaller meeting and function rooms will also be given a contemporary new look,” Mr Morris said.

“Audio visual, lighting and services are also being updated to cater for the latest technology for exhibition, convention and function events.”

Mr Morris said the Resort’s spectacular new One Spa facility, featuring a relaxing private lounge, a newly relocated hair salon, four dry treatment rooms, two wet treatment rooms and two couple’s rooms, which opened last month, complimented the upgraded conference facilities.

“RACV Royal Pines is committed to providing our members and guests a fantastic experience,” Mr Morris said.

“With our range of quality dining options, championship 27-hole golf course, quality leisure and accommodation options, together with our stunning new OneSpa facility and upgraded conference centre, RACV Royal Pines provides locals and visitors alike with a fantastic Gold Coast destination.”
