Accommodation

In the heart of Queenstown, just 15 minutes from the airport, Sofitel features 70 deluxe rooms plus 10 executive and two penthouse suites; most with private ‘Juliet’ balconies and mountain or lake views. All rooms are furnished with the Sofitel ‘My Bed’, introducing a new concept in rest. All rooms and suites feature a plasma TV, home theatre with CD/DVD, espresso machine, minibar, high speed broadband, wireless LAN and air-conditioning. Every bathroom has a double spa bath with LCD TV, separate shower, heated floor tiling and towel rack, bathrobes, slippers and features luscious bathroom amenities by L’Occitane. Sofitel offers 24-hour room service, with a breakfast menu which changes daily, plus two levels of retail boutiques and restaurants, full concierge service with valet car parking

Catering Information

Our French inspired restaurant “Vie” is the perfect setting for a welcome dinner. Chef Watson would be delighted to work with you in styling menus specific to your requirements based on your budget and theme. Alternatively, meticulous and innovative design features transform “The Boardroom” into an elegant private dining room, menus can be tailored to suit your needs. Vie offers a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both full and half day delegate packages available from $55.00incl GST per person (full day) and $35.00incl GST (half day)

Accolades

Queenstown’s only five-star hotel, the Sofitel Queenstown, has been named among the top 20 hotels in the world by prestigious Australian travel magazine Gourmet Traveller. The 82-room boutique hotel, open for just seven months, is the only New Zealand property to feature in the ‘Best of the Best’ accolade. It ranks alongside hotels from all around the world – including the Four Seasons Resort in Malaysia, Le Petit Moulin in France, Singapore’s Hotel 1929, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental in China, Parker Palm Springs in the US, The Chedi Muscat in Oman and Hotel Endsleigh in the UK.
