CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park is a new event centre in the heart of the Melbourne & Olympic Parks sporting and entertainment precinct. Quintessentially Melbourne, with sweeping views of the Melbourne city skyline, CENTREPIECE is surrounded by open green spaces, Australian gum trees and championship tennis courts which are part of the precincts rich sporting history.
A dynamic and flexible venue, CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park offers you a complete conference centre at the home of the Australian Open tennis grand slam. Inviting the outside in, the venue is flooded in natural light via the expansive windows and atrium skylight. Made up of 3 levels; CENTREPIECE is the complete one stop shop for your event.
The team are now taking bookings for events in mid-2021 and beyond.

The precinct is notably acclaimed for hosting the Australian Open and Melbourne’s most celebrated national and international, sports and entertainment events. Welcoming around 600 events per year and attracting more than 2.5 million people, Melbourne & Olympic Parks comprises Rod Laver Arena, John Cain Arena, Margaret Court Arena and AAMI Park.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the city skyline, the unrivalled location is situated between Melbourne’s CBD, the Botanic Gardens and Richmond, bound by the Yarra River. Comprising around 40 hectares, as the name suggests, it joins the exceptionally unique premises of Melbourne Park and Olympic Park.

Melbourne Park is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar transformation with the intent to cater for the growing popularity of the Australian Open and year-round events. The design will secure the future of the Australian Open event in Melbourne and cater for the growing event calendar, ensuring that Melbourne & Olympic Parks continues to be a world class sporting and entertainment precinct for generations to come.
Redevelopment works will place a strong emphasis on the comfort of patrons, with more open space and shade, increased seating capacity, better connections to public transport and the city, and easier movement into and within the Melbourne and Olympic Parks precinct.
