Venue Highlights

At the Rydges Latimer understand is takes more than just a building to make a great venue - we only built ours in 2013 by the way! - so here are a few other things we would like to bring to the table:
• We know how stressful managing an event can be - the last thing you want to worry about Is the venue, so leave it all to us. Each event has a dedicated coordinator to manage the finer details, allowing you to sit back and relax, knowing it’s all under control.
• Food, glorious food. It's what everyone remembers, and it's what we do well. At Rydges we've stepped it up a notch - from our fresh green salads to the rather sinful desserts…. frankly, we can think of worse ways to spend the day!
• Fully integrated AV - each room is plug-and-play, saving you precious time, money and stress.

Location

Our location in the center of Christchurch overlooks Latimer Square, not a construction zone! Easy access from the motorways, and ample free parking make for a stress free delegate arrival - 500 meters from Cathedral square, and just a 20 minute trip from the airport.

Accommodation

Rydges Latimer Christchurch features 138 stylishly appointed hotel rooms and suites, designed to exude warmth and sublime comfort. All rooms feature a workstation, high speed internet and WIFI, flat screen televisions, individually controlled air conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities and in-room safe.

Catering Information

Bloody Mary's Bar-Lounge-Grill is Christchurch's hippest new eatery, the ideal place to meet and greet.
The menu draws inspiration from the amazing produce found right here in Canterbury. Seasonally focused, uncomplicated and approachable cuisine, attentive knowledgeable and intuitive service are the hallmarks of this amazing dining experience.

Technical Facilities

Our dedicated conference floor features fully integrated AV systems, with high lumen flown data projectors, drop down screens and sound systems. Patch panels in the walls and floors mean no cables running across the room, with both VGA and HDMI connections.
Broadband internet connections are available for all presenters, with FREE high speed HSIA WIFI capabilities for up to 300 devices.
