Q Station, Sydney Harbour National Park, Manly, has announced the appointment of Griff Pamment as Executive Chef.  Griff joins the team with a stellar background in some of Sydney’s leading restaurants including Rockpool, Bills, Sean’s Panorama and most recently, Longrain.

Griff loves clean Australian flavours and he is devoted to sustainable Australian produce.  He is passionate about food styling, as well as the paddock to plate ethos.

Griff is overseeing the food offering across the hotel with a focus on the award winning Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar, on the edge of Sydney Harbour.  His experience in hatted restaurants will enhance the dining experience for both inhouse guests and Northern Beaches locals.

Alison Langley, General Manager, said “Q Station is an incredible property and we look forward to seeing how Griff enriches our food philosophy.  The whole team are excited to have him on board.”

Griff is thrilled to be working in such an iconic property.  “What a location and what a dream job!  I’m looking forward to elevating the dining experience within the Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar, as well as providing a classic casual food offering on the terrace by the beach.  I will focus on allowing the produce to shine through a seasonal menu, with an emphasis on our natural landscape”.

Last night the team hosted an event to launch its new autumn menu, showcasing a range of exciting new flavours and innovative cooking techniques.  The new brand, soft refurbishments and direction of the kitchen team will stimulate even the most discerning of diners.

Q Station is a heritage listed property located at North Head, Manly.  The 106 room hotel offers overnight accommodation, conferencing and event facilities, restaurants and bars, history and ghost tours as well as its own private harbour beach.
