With less than a week to go before the one-day trade event for outbound MICE product opens, Get Global has launched its reinvented app for Android and iOS and announced a pot of over $250K in international travel prizes buyers will win on the day.   

The Get Global 2018 app allows buyers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners to connect before the event starts to secure their appointments and acts as the entry mechanism for the prize draws.  By organising their own appointments, attendees can focus on product relevant to their specific and immediate business needs.

The app, available for download for all buyers via the Apple App Store and Google Play, also features the full program of activities, including the program of speakers in the ICMI Inspiration Corner and prize draws, ensuring buyers do not miss out.

“We are encouraging buyers to plan their day before they arrive by downloading the Get Global app.  By including the contact details of the exhibitors and their locations, buyers can plan ahead and make the most of their time on the exhibition floor,” said Get Global co-founder, Donna Kessler.

In an attempt to consolidate waste during the event, the app also features an electronic business card exchange, allowing buyers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners to connect with a scan of their personalised QR Code. All the contacts made can be exported for follow up at the end of the event.

Buyers will enjoy free registration to Get Global which also includes entry to the Get Up & Go Breakfast, cocktail function, the Inspiration Corner, as well as lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and barista coffee throughout the day.  With no pre-scheduled appointments or arrival time to commit too, buyers can be flexible throughout the day and make the most of the new and existing international products, arranged in geographical zones.
