RACV Cape Schanck Resort is bringing state-of-the art conference and event facilities to Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The resort’s new function spaces are the first of their size in the region.

RACV Cape Schanck Resort sits on the edge of the spectacular Mornington Peninsula National Park. Guests can experience 180 degree views over Bass Strait, unparalleled at any other conference and event location in the state. Executive General Manager of RACV’s Leisure business, Craig Peachey, knows this resort offers something special.

“Our new property’s unrivalled ocean views are truly amazing and have to be experienced first-hand. Groups who choose to book their conferences and events at RACV Cape Schanck, Mornington Peninsula resort have the freedom to relax, and do business, in impressive natural surroundings, while only being 75 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.”

“The resort also enables guests to experience the Mornington Peninsula, a region on the rise in Victoria, with its boutique food, wine and wellness offerings attracting tourists in droves,” he said.

RACV’s new resort offers 11 function spaces. With two flexible format ballrooms, the largest caters for 350 delegates in banquet style, while the second ballroom can cater for 250 delegates, also in banquet style. Both these spaces can be divided into two smaller spaces, allowing four large groups to host conferences simultaneously. All four spaces feature pre-function areas serviced by exclusive bars and cloak room facilities.

Seven smaller boardrooms are available that cater for between 10 and 20 delegates, with private bathroom facilities available. All RACV Cape Schanck Resort conference and event spaces are equipped with the industry’s newest audio-visual capabilities.

The resort boasts premium food and beverage offerings, with all conferences and events catered under the watchful eye of Executive Chef, Josh Pelham.

“Chef Josh brings years of experience working at Michelin-star restaurants in the UK, as well as some of Melbourne’s best eateries. His experience, combined with our resort’s relationships with the Mornington Peninsula’s finest produce suppliers, creates a five-star culinary experience for our conference and events guests,” said Peachey.

RACV Cape Schanck Resort facilities include a 25-metre indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms and a fully-equipped gym. Delegates can be pampered at the luxurious OneSpa to unwind in our Hammam bathing area, which can be coupled with treatments in one of our eight treatment rooms.
