Commuters Offered Nine Free Ferry Trips to Launch New Captain Cook Cruises ICC Sydney Service

Travelling within the city of Sydney, has now become easier and faster for daily commuters, with the commencement of Captain Cook Cruises new ICC Sydney ferry from the 9th August 2017. The new route links ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and Circular Quay in one fast ferry service.

The ferry service will use a ticketless 'Commuter eTravelPass' and to launch the new pass Captain Cook Cruises is offering a one off special of 10 trips for only $5, that's nine free trips.

The special is available for sale until 16th August 2017 or until sold out.The 'Copmuter eTravelPass' pass includes ferry trips between Barangaroo, King Street Wharf No.1; Circular Quay, Harbour Master Steps; Darling Harbour, Pier 26 and ICC Sydney, Convention Wharf.

The eTravelPass is available as a 11-trip, 15-trip and 33-trip pass, with ferries departing daily and approximately every 30 minutes between 6.35am and 7.50pm.

The ticketless pass is quick and easy for commuters to use.

Simply visit the App Store or Google Play Store on any mobile device, download the Captain Cook Cruises app, create an account, purchase the desired Commuter eTravelPass and then show the e-ticket to the deckhand when boarding.

A separate account, mobile device and eTravelPass is required for each passenger.According to Richard Doyle, Head of Sales and Marketing at Captain Cook Cruises, the new ICC Sydney ferry service allows much needed flexibility for the busy commuter who can now quickly and easily travel between Barangaroo, Circular Quay and Daring Harbour on their way to and from work.”

“The new Captain Cook Cruises ticket app and 'Commuter eTravelPass', also saves valuable travelling time, as commuters no longer have to collect cruise tickets prior to departure.” Adds Mr Doyle.

The 11-Trips Commuter eTravelPass is $55 per adult and $30 per child and has a 90-day expiry, the 15-Trips Commuter eTravelPass is $80 per adult and $45 per child and the 33-Trips Commuter eTravelPass is $165 per adult and $90 per child, both with a 365-day expiry.
