Ultimate Team Building Initiative Rocks Sydney Harbour Bridge

Ciaran Gribbin, former singer of INXS, is showing the corporate world how to rock on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for an innovative new team building package: Rock the Bridge.

The powerhouse MICE offering combines authentic rock music, an international bucket list activity and gourmet F&B offerings from three revered team building and entertainment Sydney brands:

  • Rock and Roll Team Building, fronted by Grammy nominated songwriter Gribbin
  • BridgeClimb Sydney, award winning tourism attraction operating on the Sydney Harbour Bridge
  • Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, one of Sydney finest hotels.

Participants begin the day with light refreshments in BridgeClimb’s private cinema, accompanied by high energy live music from an electric fiddler and rock and roll band, motivational video messages optional.

Directed by Gribbin, Rock and Roll Team Building then take groups through brainstorming, composition, harmonisation and rehearsal of an original song, incorporating conference and/or company themes.

Once warmed up, groups journey along the arches of the coat hanger to a vantage point 134 metres above the harbour for unparalleled, 360 degree views of Sydney.

During the ascent, rock anthems play through headsets, alternating with BridgeClimb’s historical and contemporary commentary on the building of the Bridge and Sydney surrounds.

After a summit celebration, Gribbin with his acoustic guitar leads groups through a performance of their original piece on a stage like no other; the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney’s ‘Blu Bar on 36’ is a short walk from the climb’s conclusion. Sydney’s signature destination bar on level 36 hosts climbers as they toast the day’s accomplishments, with drinks and canapés, to breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House - fit for a rock star.

All elements of the high energy event, an original twist on traditional team building models, were captures by Shane Oneil of Oneil Photographics.

In the last few years, BridgeClimb has hosted special limited edition Climbs and one-off special events for local and international festivals and celebrations including, Tai Chi, World Yoga Day, Chinese New Year and Vivid Sydney’s The Vivid Climb.

BridgeClimb offers a truly memorable experience, perfect for special occasions, family adventures, team building and corporate events.
