Captain Cook Cruises Pink Party for Life Saving Foundation

Captain Cook Cruises is turning Sydney Harbour pink, hosting a special three-hour High Tea at Sea on Wednesday 12th October in support of the McGrath Foundation.

Donating 50% of the 'Turn Sydney Harbour Pink, High Tea at Sea' fare plus all donations on the day from raffles and silent auctions, Captain Cook Cruises hopes to raise much needed funds to help the McGrath Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and increase breast awareness in young people.

Grab some friends, add a splash of pink and enjoy an afternoon of frivolity and fun while being treated to a delicious high tea of savoury and sweet treats, a glass of pink bubbles on arrival and wine throughout. There will be fabulous prizes to be won and a special guest appearance by McGrath Foundation Ambassador and Director, Tracy Bevan.

Head of Sales and Marketing for Captain Cook Cruises, Richard Doyle, says Captain Cook Cruises is thrilled to be operating a pink High Tea at Sea for the McGrath Foundation.

“Captain Cook Cruises has a strong corporate social responsibility and the McGrath Foundation is a wonderful charity who we have partnered with for the past three years. We hope everyone gets behind our efforts to support the McGrath Foundationand joins us for a fantastic afternoon at our pink High Tea at Sea.” says Richard Doyle.

McGrath Foundation Ambassador and Director, Tracy Bevan, says the McGrath Foundation is fortunate to have friends like Captain Cook Cruises who are committed to supporting the McGrath Foundation.

“Funds raised from initiatives like these are essential to ensure the work of the McGrath Foundation's 110 McGrath Breast Care Nurses continues, providing specialised, free of charge, care to patients and their families experiencing breast cancer,” says Tracy Bevan.

“Our annual Signature High Teas in Melbourne and Sydney have sold out for the year and Captain Cook Cruises 'Turn Sydney Harbour Pink, High Tea at Sea' is a great opportunity for those that missed out to support the McGrath Foundation at a wonderful alternate event. I'm looking forward to meeting and thanking passengers onboard for their heartfelt support,” continued Tracy.

The Turn Sydney Harbour Pink, High Tea at Sea departs Wednesday, 12th October 2016 from Circular Quay Wharf 6 at 12.30pm, returning at 3.45pm.

The menu features a variety of savoury and sweet treats and includes an extensive tea menu with 15 different teas to choose from, a glass of delectable pink bubbles on arrival and wine throughout.
