Craig Bond, Area General Manager, Oceania, Pan Pacific Hotels Group spoke about their commitment to connecting with the frontline teams, "We value our relationships and Customer Connections Week is a really important time to connect with the companies we work with and recognise the bookers and frontline teams on the ground. Their support is greatly appreciated within our company. It is also an opportunity to strengthen these relationships and provide updates on new developments and expansion within the Asia Pacific region."

During the event series PPHG representatives highlighted the development of the portfolio within the Asia Pacific, focusing on company growth in Indonesia, Malaysia and Yangon. Within Oceania, this is also a key focus with large-scale refurbishments currently underway at Pan Pacific Perth and PARKROYAL Parramatta and the development of PARKROYAL Melbourne, the forth PARKROYAL hotel in Australia and the Group's second hotel in Melbourne.

As part of this expansion, PPHG will continue to contribute to the wider community through corporate social responsibility initiatives and championing local talent within the hospitality industry.

The Sydney event hosted at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney also included an exclusive VIP lunch with Sir Bob Parker, who served four terms as Mayor of Christchurch City, including during the 2010-2011 earthquakes, where he was highly praised for his leadership during the disaster. Sir Parker shared his experiences with 40 VIP's in an intimate event specially created to give guests an empowering insight into enhancing their own leadership skills in the workplace.

The successful Customer Connections series has already delivered results, with international business out of Australia increasing 20% year on year.
