2011 Preferred Supplier Awards Winners Announced at AIME 2012

The EventConnect.com 'preferred supplier awards' continue to recognise the most preferred venues and event related products and services listed within the online portal. Winners were announced and presented with their awards on the opening day of the Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) 2012.

More than 3,200 votes were cast to 896 venues and services across the Asia Pacific region.

Managing Director Steve Coombes said "Congratulations go to the winners of our 2011 preferred supplier awards who have achieved the most votes from their clients and users of EventConnnect.com"

"We launched the preferred supplier awards in 2010 essentially a 'people's choice' style awards to recognise venues and services that received the most votes and 'preferred supplier tags,' which at the time was a new feature of the site. As a result of running the awards program, there is now a much greater awareness of the sites advanced features."

There are currently four major search regions; Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands within which there are two categories; venues and services.

Awards were presented to the following winners at AIME (the premier event in the Southern Hemisphere for the meetings, incentive, convention and exhibition industries) on 22-23 February 2012.
