Outstanding new menu, two of Australia’s largest wine walls, plush new interior, and a prime river location for alfresco Deck dining - Brisbane Marriott’s much-anticipated new restaurant, Motion Bar & Grill (formerly Petrie’s) believes it’s hit on the perfect recipe for success.
After a $3 million transformation Motion Bar & Grill is now open to the public.
Brisbane Marriott is aiming to knock the socks off locals and tourists with a dining, drinking and entertaining experience that tantalizes all five senses.
The restaurant has luxurious booths, Chef’s Grill Table overlooking the theatre of the open-kitchen, high set tables in the stylish M Bar and outside seating on the M Deck overlooking Brisbane River.
Spearheaded by hospitality interior architectural experts, CHADA , the dramatic modern design, stunning ambience and two climate controlled Wine Walls are the striking focal point of the new-look restaurant.
Revelling in the stunning kitchen transformation of an open-plan grill kitchen, Chef Peter Iwanczyk will revitalise the menus to elevate every dining experience to the next level. He is committed to the use of quality ingredients focussing on premium cuts of steak and seafood for The Grill and looks forward to creating signature dishes from locally sourced produce from small producers throughout Queensland wherever possible to include in the all-day dining and weekday lunch menus.
Breezy breakfasts and lunches offering ‘Quick’, ‘Quicker’ & ‘Quickest’ dishes and a share-plate bar menu will also be available to hotel guests and visitors alike.
“Motion Bar & Grill is only minutes’ walk from the city centre yet so many people still haven’t been here. The northern end of the city’s central business district is still a bit of an enigma to locals,” said General Manager James Ferguson.
