Meeting & Events Australia is pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 MEA State and National Awards at the MEALIVE 2019 Award virtual event held at ICC Sydney Studios on Friday 29th May 2020.
This was the first time that the state and national awards were presented together and the first time it was broadcast to an audience of more than 500 attendees from across Australia participating online.
Robyn Johnson CEO, of MEA, commented,“This was a whole new experience, taking the Awards online was certainly a complex operation that involved an enormous amount of technical coordination. Our goal was to make it the benchmark in virtual awards events. We were absolutely delighted with the attendance and the way the industry grasped the opportunity to celebrate with their colleagues virtually. It was an amazing night and a bright moment for the events industry.”
It was a major technical production with award winners accepting their awards and entertainment performing online from around Australia and the world.
