AccorHotels is proud to unveil the newly refurbished Novotel Sydney Darling Square.

Formerly Novotel Rockford Daring Harbour, the hotel is located within Darling Square Sydney’s newest city neighbourhood which features residential apartments, corporate offices and laneways boasting a range of shopping and dining options.

The hotel has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment across each of the 230 guest rooms. Inspired by the neighbouring Chinese Gardens, the colour scheme, finish and lighting of each of guest room has been designed to capture the tranquillity of the gardens. The room design creates the feeling of an urban oasis and connects the hotel to its local community.

The hotel’s new lobby bar and restaurant Pier Street Kitchen is now open, offering guests and locals a brand new option for breakfast and lunch. The menu is abundant with fresh produce and healthy options. Plus, guests can still take advantage of the Pumphouse Bar adjoining the hotel, for evening dinner and drinks.

Simon McGrath, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels Pacific said that Novotel Sydney Darling Square’s position and refurbishment complement the development of the Darling Square precinct and surrounding area.

“We are delighted to have the newly refurbished and renamed Novotel Sydney Darling Square as part of our network, and with the recent refurbishment, we are looking forward to seeing our guests experience the new-look hotel.

“The Darling Square precinct continues to undergo a large amount of development and improvement and the area is thriving, particularly since the opening of the International Convention Centre. With the abundance of dining and entertainment attractions nearby, Novotel Sydney Darling Square is in a prime position to capitalise on the investment in infrastructure that has gone into the area. It is certainly an exciting time to be part of the Darling Harbour precinct.”

Sharing Simon McGrath’s excitement, Chin Fen Eu, CEO of the managers of Frasers Hospitality Trust said: “As the asset owner of Novotel Sydney Darling Square, we are happy to extend our existing partnership with AccorHotels Australia from two to three properties.”

“The re-opening of the International Convention Centre made it an opportune time to renovate and reposition our property. We are very happy with the outcome of the renovation works and believe that the success of this hotel will further strengthen our partnership with AccorHotels Australia,” added Ms Eu.
