Beers, Balls & Blitzes: Super Bowl Madness Takes Over Luna Park Sydney!

Luna Park Venues is proud to introduce a brand new event to its already bustling calendar, Luna Bowl – Super Bowl 51, Sydney’s very own Super Bowl party! Mark those calendars, Monday, February 6 2017 is guaranteed to be a star-spangled celebration of the most viewed TV broadcast in US history. 

Guests will be picked up from Circular Quay at 8.30am for a ‘sailgate’ cruise on Sydney Harbour or can arrive independently at Luna Park at 10am to be greeted by a college marching band. Bacon and egg rolls and a souvenir beer mug will then be given to attendees on arrival, kicking off an incredible day of food and football. 

Throughout the next four hours, guests will be treated to an all-American buffet, drinks, betting facilities, commentary and plenty more as Luna Bowl joins some 110 million fans watching Super Bowl 51 live, including its famous halftime show, to be performed by inimitable pop bombshell Lady Gaga. 

The game will be projected across multi-screens in the Crystal Palace, with Australia’s best NFL podcast Woot & Wye in charge of live game day analysis. The event will be hosted by Radio Hub sports presenters Cooper “Silky” Silk and Craig “Bush” Markham, with even more special guests to be announced over the coming months.

As well as food, drinks and the game itself, an Interactive Zone will be open for guests to go wild on PlayStations and football-themed ball games for an all-day sports blitz. And if that wasn’t enough, your ticket to Luna Bowl also includes unlimited rides and 4 Sideshow Games at Luna Park!

Luna Park Venues’ general manager of sales, James Granter, has said, “We are thrilled to be bringing the Super Bowl to Luna Park, Sydney! There’s nothing quite like Luna Bowl in Australia and we can’t wait to be among the hundred million or so watching live around the world – even if it is first thing on a Monday morning!”

With some marvellous prizes on offer, the raffle proceeds will be donated to the charity organisation Save Our Sons.
