Venue Highlights
This multi-purpose indoor sports and entertainment venue has a gala event capacity of up to 2,500 and seating capacity of almost 9,000 for concerts and sporting events. The simple design, flexible space and high ceiling of Westpac Arena allows themes to be created easily. Features include on-site kitchens and well appointed conveniences.
Westpac Arena is a versatile venue that has hosted many international sporting events, artists, exhibitions and gala dinners. The Arena has 4,000m2 of flat floor space and 3,000 car parks. The seating in Westpac Arena is a combination of fixed, telescopic, retractable and loose floor seating offering multiple set-up configurations.
18 Corporate Suites are available for hire offering some of the best views in the arena for all types of performances.
Location
The Westpac Centre is located in Addington, Christchurch only a 10 minute drive to the CDB of Christchurch.
It is approximately 12 kilometres to Christchurch International Airport.

Technical Facilities
Operating equipment: A three-side LED graphics scoreboard is positioned above Centre Court, mothergrid, flytower provision, TV production platforms, dedicated space for outside broadcaster vans, fenced service yard, back of house services and rooms.

Business Facilities
The Westpac Centre also has 18 Corporate Suites that can be used to entertain clients to any concert or sporting event held at the Westpac Centre. They hold 12 people each. There are also 2 double suites which hold 24 people each. These can also be used for meetings when exhibition/trade shows are at the venue.
