Venue Highlights
The Christchurch Convention Centre is New Zealand's largest purpose-built convention venue.
The venue is built around a pillarless hall that can be segmented into two or three smaller halls. These open up into a pre-function area leading to the impressive naturally lit foyer. A winding staircase provides access to the first floor where there are 7 breakout rooms, a business centre, boardroom and bar.
With 8 metre high ceilings, flexible space and drive-in access, the Christchurch Convention Centre caters for an almost endless variety of events, from conventions and exhibitions to gala dinners and smaller meetings.
The venue is further enhanced by its airbridge link to the Christchurch Town Hall for Performing Arts and one of Christchurch's largest hotels.

The Christchurch Convention Centre is located in the CBD and is within 5 -10 minute walking distance to most major hotels, cultural centres, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and night life.
The Convention Centre is just a 15 minute drive from the Christchurch International Airport.

We can design a menu for your event and any specific delegate requirements using the finest local ingredients to create perfect flavours. Our food is complemented by a large selection of New Zealand and international wines.
