Location
While being located in the central business district, the hotel overlooks Victoria Square's tranquil park setting and offers sweeping views across the City and to the Southern Alps. It is within walking distance to the city's entertainment district, the boutique shops on Victoria Street, the Christchurch Casino and is connected by covered walkway to the Christchurch Convention Centre. The hotel boasts a covered entrance at the top of the driveway which allows for up to two 45-seater coaches at a time to pick-up and drop-off delegates. The activities and attractions of the Canterbury region including wineries, hot air ballooning, jet boating and numerous golf courses are all within a short drive from the hotel.

Crowne Plaza Christchurch is the only hotel to offer a selection of three restaurants and two bars on-site making it The Place To Meet. Victoria Street Café is open daily serving buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. The hotel's signature restaurant, Canterbury Tales, combines innovative cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere with impeccable service and food. Yamagen Japanese Restaurant provides authentic Japanese cuisine including sushi, sukiyaki and teppan-yaki. The glass-roofed Atrium Lounge & Bar is located in the heart of the hotel offering the perfect place to relax and unwind. Revive your senses at the end of the day in Rumpole's Bar which features a big screen TV and pool table. All venues can be hired for private functions either individually or together.
