At the mid point of the Great Ocean Road in coastal Victoria, Australia, rising up from the Southern Ocean, lies Moonlight Head. Moonlight Head Lodge, a magical combination of privacy, tranquillity and luxury in total harmony with nature. The lodge, a remote all inclusive, exclusive retreat hidden amongst tracts of mature Eucalypts which make up the Australian bush. Matchless Australian hospitality is provided, for up to eight people to enjoy immaculate service and hedonistic levels of comfort are key to Moonlight Head’s appeal.

Location

The Lodge is at the mid-point of the Great Ocean Road in a remote part of coastal Victoria.

Accommodation

Moonlight can accomodate 8 people on a twin share basis. A second lodge will open in April 2007, increasing Moonlight to eight bedrooms from the current four.

Catering Information

The lodge has it's own chef. The cuisine at Moonlight Head is led by your needs.

Our chef focuses on creating a dining experience to tempt the most mature to the youngest of family palates. Your dining experience, should you wish, is complemented by an exquisite selection of wines from Australia & New Zealand.

Recreational Facilities

Moonlight can arrange any type of activity for you with sufficient lead time. With only nominal amounts of planning you can; Hike, go mountain biking, horse back riding for the day, go fishing, fly kites, spend a day with former SAS personnel, just ask.

The team at Moonlight seek to service you at your pace. Active days, hiking the Great Ocean Walk, fishing on a private lake, playing a round of golf , horse back riding through the bush, riding a Ducatti along the Great Ocean road or exploring the historic wilderness on a mountain bike are some of the experiences offered. Though if it is just sitting in with a good book or movie, hiding from the world, then we are experts helping you with your selection.

For internet communication, optic fibre through to satellite is avaiable.

The lodge has overhead projectors and televisions for presentations.

Scanners, copiers and printers are also available.
