Lake House has an enviable record of national and international awards for service, ambience cuisine and cellar. We are just 80mins from Melbourne's CBD and 60 minutes from Melbourne airport.
From Melbournes CBD, travel over the West Gate Bridge and follow signs to Ballarat on the Western Highway until you reach the Ballan/Daylesford turn off. Turn right and follow this road into Daylesford and you'll see us on the left-handside as you enter the town.
Accommodation
Guesthouse Rooms are part of the original homestead. Each room has a Queen size bed, en suite, television with cable, CD, DVD and a minibar.
Waterfront Rooms provide enchanting views overlooking the foreshore of Lake Daylesford with private balcony, king or twin beds, fold out sofa bed and easy chair. Each room also has television with satellite, CD, DVD, minibar and full ensuites.
Waterfront Suites are spacious and luxurious with private balconies or terraces overlooking Lake Daylesford. Each room is furnished with contemporary interiors, king or twin beds, private lounge area with double fold out sofa bed, easy chair and ottoman. All the luxuries of double spa bath, dual shower, heated bathroom floor and walk in wardrobes, CD, VCR, DVD, satellite TV and internet.

Enjoy contemporary Australian cuisine which pays homage to the best available seasonal produce and the efforts of local regional suppliers. A team of talented, dedicated young cooks under the direction of Executive chef Alla Wolf Tasker work from the ground up producing virtually everything on the premises.
