Built in 1883 The Hotel Windsor is Australia's most loved and recognised grand hotel. The hotel has a range of elegant function rooms that provide a prestigious alternative for your next conference or event.

The newest venue 1 Bourke Street has recently opened to welcome applause. This expansive space features an abundance of natural light and stunning streetscape views of Bourke Street and Parliament House.

The majestic Grand Ballroom is elaborately decorated in 24 carat gold leaf and fine crystal throughout and features the original stained glass ceiling domes.

The L-shaped Canberra Room is a flexible function space featuring period detailing throughout.

The elegant Winston Room was the original dining room and is perfect for meetings or stylish cocktail events.

Location

The hotel is located at 111 Spring St on the corner of Little Collins St in the Paris end of Melbourne overlooking Parliament House and the beautiful Treasury Gardens. The hotel is a short stroll to the high end fashion couture houses on Collins Street, the famous sporting landmarks of the MCG and Rod Laver Arena, fabulous theatres and museums. Parliament station is located directly across from the hotel, with the City Circle tram stop just outside the hotel.
