Located on the holiday island of Phuket. The resort is a modern resort style hotel, enjoying a picturesque location surrounded by panoramic views of the neighbouring hills and vegetation, and consists of a cluster of several buildings designed in a unique combination of traditional Thai and contemporary style architecture.

The resort boasts three pool areas and sundecks for soaking up Phuket's glorious sunshine. These include one free form swimming pool with crystal clear water and a sparkling jacuzzi, or the landscaped Emerald pool, which is the heart of Centara Kata Resort Phuket, providing jacuzzi, aqua beds, pool bar and waterslide for our young guests.

Location

Centara Kata Resort Phuket is located in the tranquil heart of popular Kata Beach, a 45 minute drive from Phuket International Airport. Kata Beach is a 2 kilometer long white sandy beach with shallow waters, ideal and perfect choice for family leisure and pleasure.

Like Patong Beach or Karon Beach, Kata Beach offers you shopping, dining, sightseeing, snorkeling, and diving opportunities. If you want to avoid the more excessive entertainment life and persistent vendors, Kata is the place to go. The value for money is great too!

Elephant trekking, mini golf, and shopping at some of the island's larger shopping malls are also available. And should you prefer to visit the sizzling nightlife in neighboring Patong, the trip takes only 15 minutes!

Accommodation

The resort comprises 158 rooms and suites spread out in a cluster of 2 and 3 storey low-rise buildings. All units are very spacious, comfortable, functional and tastefully decorated in traditional Thai and contemporary style architecture to create a family friendly resort.

All rooms have are equipped with a satellite TV, individual air conditioning, safe, refrigerator, water kettle or tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have a furnished terrace (ground floor) or balcony, which overlooks the resort style pool area.

Recreational Facilities

Three swimming pools (including the Emerald pool, connected kids pool complete with play slides, aqua-beds, Jacuzzi and swim-up pool bar), sports area, Just 4 Kids (children's club and play areas), SPA Cenvaree, and Fitness room.

Other activities, such as surfing, elephant trekking, horseback riding, snorkeling etc are only a stones throw away.
